I acknowledge that by using the application named ZČU (hereinafter referred to as the “Application”), the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen (UWB), with its registered office at Univerzitní 2732/8, 301 00 Pilsen, Company ID No.: 49777513, as the controller, will process my personal data to the following extent: student personal number, role selection, first name, surname, e-mail, secondary e-mail, study results (including grade point average, assessment/grade, credits obtained), Device ID, IP address, application language, user location (if enabled for the Application), operating system version, Application version, access token, refresh token, FCM token, and user settings (preferences),

for the purpose of:

• Ensuring access to the study agenda; the purpose is to enable the student to view their current study data on a mobile device, display the timetable, assessments and progress of study, register for examination dates, and access other Application functionalities related to the study agenda.
• Delivering study-related and operational alerts (notifications); the purpose is to immediately inform the student about various events related to their studies, such as the registration of a new grade, announcement of an examination date, change of classroom, information concerning the operation or restricted operation of the Application, or KISS system warnings.
• Sending internal informational and cultural invitations to events organized directly by UWB, such as lectures, sports events, academic days, etc.; you may easily refuse to receive these invitations at any time by disabling the relevant preference directly in the Application. Disabling this preference does not affect the operation of the Application.

including without your consent, and

• for the purpose of sending offers from partners (third parties), such as promotional videos of partners (third parties), discounts and events of third parties, and job offers from third parties, provided that you have granted UWB your consent to do so.

To ensure the technical operation, distribution, stability and delivery of Application content, we use third-party services.

The companies listed below process data for their own purposes and act as independent controllers. Technical data is not transferred by the Application to our servers nor stored on them, but is processed within the infrastructure of these providers – Apple Inc. – Apple App Store & Apple Maps (for iOS devices) and Google LLC – Google Play & Google Maps Platform (for Android devices). These companies process selected data, such as Apple ID, Google account, IP address, device information, purchase information, diagnostic data and, if access is approved, GPS location, for the purpose of downloading the Application, verifying purchases, ensuring system security and displaying map materials.

For these services, Google LLC through the Firebase platform acts as a processor for us and provides technical tools for improving the Application.

Firebase Crashlytics (Error Analysis and Stability) – in the event of an unexpected crash or error of the Application, this service sends an automatic report. This report contains only technical information, such as the type of device, operating system version, system status at the moment of the crash, and an anonymous installation identifier. The data is used solely for diagnostics and error correction.

Firebase Cloud Messaging (Push Notifications) – for the purpose of delivering operational and alert push notifications to your phone, this service processes an anonymous device registration token and basic technical information about the device, such as the model and system language.
